Project 3 Mobility Completes Production and Testing of 60 Verification Prototypes 

We have produced and tested 60 verification prototypes. Our current focus is on continuous testing of autonomous driving systems in Zagreb, as well as other preparations necessary for launching the service, planned for spring 2026. 

The development, production, and testing of prototypes – whether individual vehicle systems or the complete vehicle – are standard steps in the process of creating a new vehicle. As part of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRRP), through which Project 3 Mobility was granted funding for the project “Research, development and production of new mobility vehicles and supporting infrastructure”, this phase of prototype development and testing was defined as one of the key indicators of project progress. 

We have produced and tested all 60 planned verification prototypes, in accordance with the contract and state aid allocation rules. To date, €89.7 million has been disbursed to the company through the NRRP, while we continue to attract private investments – so far totaling more than €104 million.
